摘要
Reversed-phasepaperchromatographytechniqueisusedforstudyontheextractionmechanismandsep-arationofrareearthelements.Asthestationaryphase,chromatographicpaperstripsareimpregnatedwithasolutionofmonomyristylphosphoricacid(MPA)inchloroform.Mineralacidsareusedasdevelopers.Theeffectofconcentrationofacidsand/orsaltsuponRfhasbeeninvestigated.Accordingtothere-sultsofRfvaluesforagivenrareearthelementinvariousacids,theorderofextractionabilityisHCl>HNO3>H2SO4.Atetradeffectisclearlyobserved.fortheRfvalueofrareearthelements.TheeffectsofotherparametersontheRfvalue,suchasthequantitiesofextractantretainedbythepaperandthetemperaturearealsoexamined.BasedonthedeterminationofthemolarratioofMPAtorareearthelementsandthenumberofH+ionsreleasedinextractionreaction,areasonablemechanismisproposed.Themutualseparationofheavyrareearthelementswillbebetterthanthatofthelightrareearthgroupbecauseofthelargerseparationcoefficientoftheformer.AmixtureofHo-Er-Tm-Luissuccessfullyseparatedbythepresentmethod.
