Numerical Simulation and Probabilistic Hazard Assessment of Tephra Fallout at Jinlongdingzi Volcano, Longgang Volcanic Field in Jilin Province

摘要 Tephrafalloutisanimportanttypeofhazardcausedbyexplosivevolcaniceruption,andnumericalsimulationhasbecomeafastandeffectiveapproachtoassessthedispersionanddepositionoftephrafallout.Accordingtotheimproved2DdiffusionmodelofSuzuki(1983),weeditedatephradiffusionprogramthatcanrunintheWindowssystem.Basedonpreviousdata,wesimulatedthediffusionscopeoftheJinlongdingzivolcaniceruption,whichisthelatesteruptionintheLonggangvolcaniccluster.Thesimulatedresultsareingoodagreementwiththeresultsfrommeasurementinsitu,indicatingthatthemodelisreliableandtheparametersusedinthemodelaresuitable.Byusingwindprofilesoftenyears,7,021simulationsunderdifferentwindprofileswerecarriedout,andthenprobabilistichazardmapsoftephrafalloutwereconstructedfortephrathicknessthresholds,1cmand0.5cm.Thisstudycanprovideanimportantscientificbasisforvolcanichazardanalysis,riskmitigationplansandcountermeasuresintheLonggangvolcanicarea.
