PC-based frame synchronization method for byte-misaligned stream-中国期刊网

摘要 Asthetraditionalcharacter-orientedframesynchronizationmethodsarenolongerapplicabletothebyte-misalignedstream,andtheefficiencyofthebit-orientedmethodishardlyacceptable,acharacter-orientedbit-shiftstreamframesynchronization(COBS-FS)methodispresented.Inordertomeasuretheperformanceofthegivenmethod,abit-orientedframesynchronizationmethod,basedonKnuth-Morris-Pratt(KMP-FS)algorithm,isusedforcomparison.ItisprovenintheorythattheCOBS-FShasamuchlowercostinframeheadersearching.ExperimentshowsthattheCOBS-FSmethodiswithbetterperformancethantheKMP-FSalgorithminbothcomputationaleffortandexecutiontime.
