Ordovician sequence stratigraphy and correlation in the Middle-Upper Yangtze region,South China-中国期刊网

摘要 TheprecisecorrelationoftheOrdoviciansuccessionsindifferentfaciesisdifficultduetothecomplexchangesofthetecto-paleogeographyinSouthChina.Basedonpreviousstudies,theauthorsrecognized103rdgradesequences,i.e.,Osq1toOsq10inascendingorder,bytheintegratedstudyofchronostratigraphy,biostratigraphyaswellastheanalysisonthesedimentaryfacies.TheauthorsareconfidenttocorrelatetheOrdoviciansuccessionspreciselyindifferentfaciesinanisochronousstratigraphicframeworkwiththeapplicationofthemethodofsequencestratigraphyandcorrelation.
