摘要 Aneffectivedesignmethodoffreeformmicrolensarrayispresentedforshapingvariedlaserbeamsintoprescribedrectangularillumination.Thevariableseparationmappingisappliedtodesignconcavefreeformsurfacesforconstructingafreeformlensarray.Severaldedicatedexamplesshowthatthedesignedfreeformopticallensarraycanachieveaprescribedrectangularilluminationpattern,especiallywithoutconsideringtheinitialstatesofincidentlaserbeams.Bothhighcollectionefficiencyandgoodspatialuniformitycanbeavailablesimultaneously.Toleranceanalysisisalsoperformedtodemonstratethatthisopticaldevicecanwellavoidfabricatingdifficultyinactualapplications.
