RHEOLOGY OF SEMICONCENTRATED FIBRE SUSPENSION IN THE OLDROYD-B FLUID

摘要 TheconstitutiveequationforasemiconcentratedfibresuspensionintheOldroyd-Bfluidhasbeenderivedfromastatisticalmodelofsuchasuspensionbyemployingthemoleculartheoryforpolymericliquids.Tocircumventtheoreticaldifficultiesinviscoelasticfluidmechanics,severalsimplifiedmodelsareusedtoaccountfortheinteractionsoffibresandpolymermolecules.Someofmaterialfunctionsarecalculatedintermsoftheconstitutiveequation.
