摘要 Chinesestudentsusuallygetveryhighgradesinschoolsorinternationalacademiccompetitions.Therefore,BBCreleasesonedocumentaryrecentlywhichistitledas"AreOurKidsToughEnough?ChineseSchool"tofindoutiftheChineseteachingstylefitsinBritisheducationsystem.Inthisdocumentary,anexperimentiscarriedoutinoneBritishmiddleschool.ThisfourweeklongexperimentinvolvesfiveexperiencedChineseteacherstoteachdifferentsubjectsinatraditionalChinesestyletoninthgradeBritishstudents.AlltraditionalChineseteachersarestrictandaredefinitelyfamiliarwithChineseteachingmethods.Onthecontrast,thestudentsarealllocalandtheyarecreativewithastrongBritishculturalbackground.
