摘要
Comparedtotowedstreamers,ocean-bottomseismometers(OBS)obtainbothS-wavedataandricherwavefieldinformation.Inthispaper,theinducedpolarizationmethodisusedtoconductwavefieldseparationonOBSdataobtainedfromtheShenhuareaintheSouthChinaSea.AcomparisonofthechangesinP-andS-waves,andacomprehensiveanalysisofgeologicalfactorswithinthearea,enableanalysisanddescriptionoftheoccurrenceofnaturalgashydrateinthestudyarea.ResultsshowanincreaseinP-wavevelocitywhennaturalgashydrateexistsintheformation,whereastheS-wavevelocityremainsalmostconstant,asS-wavescanonlypropagatethroughtherockskeleton.Therefore,thebottom-simulatingreflection(BSR)responseoftheP-waveisbetterthanthatoftheS-waveinthefrequencyanalysisprofile.Inawide-anglesection,therefractivewaveofthehydratelayerisevidentwhenusingP-wavecomponentsbutidentificationisdifficultwithS-wavecomponents.ThisvelocitymodelillustratesthesensitivityofPandS-wavecomponentstogashydrate.TheuseofthispolarizationmethodandresultsofanalysisprovidetechnicalandtheoreticalsupportforresearchonhydratedepositsandothergeologicalfeaturesintheShenhuarea.
