Chinese ionospheric investigations in 2016

摘要 AfterthereleaseofthepreviousreporttotheCommitteeonSpaceResearch(COSPAR)onprogressachievedbyChinesescientistsinionosphericresearches(LiuLBandWanWX,2016),intherecenttwoyears(2016–2017)manyinterestingnewinvestigationsintovariousionosphericrelatedissueshavebeencompleted.Inthisreport,about100publicationsaresummarized.Thetopicshighlightedareasfollows:Ionosphericspaceweather,ionosphericdynamics,ionosphericclimatologyandmodelling,ionosphericirregularityandscintillation,GlobalNavigationSatelliteSystem(GNSS)relatedionosphericissuesandothertechniques,andradiowavepropagationintheionosphere.AnoutstandingfeatureisthatmoreandmoreobservationsfromtheMeridionalProjectsupportedtheionosphericinvestigations.
