摘要
PrecipitationobservationscollectedatweatherstationsineasternChina,theNCEP/NCARreanalysisdata,thetropicalcyclone(TC)BestTrackDataset,andasensitivitynumericalexperimentwereusedinthepresentstudytoinvestigatetheroleintheEastAsiansummermonsoon(EASM)systemplayedbyfrequentTCactivitiesoverthewesternNorthPacific(WNP).Resultsindicatedthat,inactiveTCyears,theEASMisstrongerandthesoutherlywindsinthelowertroposphereadvancefarthernorthandreachhigherlatitudes.Meanwhile,themonsoonrainbeltremainsinthelowerandmiddlereachesoftheYangtzeRivervalleyforarelativelyshortperiod,leadingtolessprecipitationthere.BoththewesternPacificsubtropicalhighandtheSouthAsianhighweakenwiththenorthwardshiftoftheridgelinesforbothhigh-pressuresystemsaswellastheEastAsiansubtropicalupper-leveljet.Therefore,theimpactsoffrequentTCactivitiesovertheWNPoneachindividualcomponentoftheEASMareinphasewiththoseofthestrongerEASMitself,amplifyingfeaturesofthealreadystrengthenedEASM.
