摘要
Becauseofitsexcellentseismicperformance,reinforcedsoilretainingwallsareincreasinglyusedincivilengineering.Althoughmanycountrieshavepublishedcorrespondingdesigncodes,thedifferencesbetweenthemarestillrelativelylarge.UsingtheFHWACodeandtheCodeforSeismicDesignofRailwayEngineering(CSDRE),stabilitycalculationsofreinforcedsoilretainingwallswerecarriedoutandthesimilaritiesanddifferencesbetweenthesetwodesigncodeswereanalyzed.Accordingtothecomparativeanalysis,thefollowingconclusionsaredrawn:theinertiaforce,theearthpressureandthetensileforceofreinforcementscalculatedfromtheCSDREarelessthanthosefromtheFHWACode,andthesafetyfactorcalculatedfromtheformerislarger.AlthoughtheM-Omethodisrecommendedtocalculatethedynamicearthpressure,theFHWACodesuggestsahigheractionpointascomparedtotheCSDRE.
