摘要
MPLS(Multi-ProtocolLabelSwitching)VPN(VirtualPrivateNetwork)traffichasbeendeployedwidely,butcurrentlyonlysupportsunicast.ThispaperbrieflyintroducesseveralavailableMPLSVPNmulticastapproaches,andthenanalyzestheirdisadvantages.Anovelmechanismthatusestwo-layerlabelstacktosupportMPLSVPNexplicitmulticastisproposedandtheprocessisdiscussedindetail.Thescalabilityandperformanceoftheproposedmechanismarestudiedanalytically.Theresultshowsthatoursolutionhasgreatadvantageoverthecurrentlyavailableschemeintermsofsavingcorenetworkbandwidthandimprovingthescalability.
