Adirectnumericalsimulationisperformedon2563gridsfordecayingisotropicturbulence.Thetotalkinematicenergy,Taylormicro-scale,Taylormicro-scaleReynoldsnumberandthevelocityderivativeskewnessarecalculated.Thesnapshotsofenergyspectraandenergytransferspectraareplotted.ThesemeasurementsverifytheDIApredictions:decayingisotropicturbulencehastheenergypropagationandoccupiesthefinaldecayperiods.Theskewnessremainstosomelevelwithsmallvariationeveninthefinaldecayperiod.
