ThenotionofafuzzyretractwasintroducedbyRodabaugh(1981).Thenotionofafuzzypairwiseretractwasintroducedin2001.Someweakformsandsomestrongformsofα-continuousmappingswereintroducedin1988and1997.TheauthorsextendsomeoftheseformstotheL-fuzzybitopologicalsettingandconstructvariousα-fuzzypairwiseretracts.TheconceptofweaklyinducedspacesinthecaseL=[0,1]wasintroducedbyMartin(1980).LinandLuo(1987)generalizedthisnotiontothecasethatLisanarbitraryF-latticeandintroducedthenotionofinducedL-fts.Severalresultsareobtained,especially,forL-valuedpairwisestratificationspaces.
