摘要
Highfrequencysurfacewaveradar(HFSWR)iswellprovedtohaveoverthehorizon(OTH)detectioncapabilitytoweakaerialtargets,suchasconcealedairplanesorcruisemissiles.ThemostimportantproblemofdetectionoffastandsmalltargetsusingHFSWRisearlierwarning,i.e.enlargementofdetectionrangeoftargets.Therefore,thedetectionthresholdshouldbedecreasedaslowaspossible,butnumerousfalsealarmsarebroughtaboutatthesametime.Onthiscondition,conventionaltrackinitiationtechniques,whichnormallyrequiretheprobabilityoffalsealarmtobeatthelevelof10-6,willinitiateenormousfalsetracksandleadtoabnormaloperationoftrackingsystem.Anadaptivemodifiedhoughtransform(AMHT)trackinitiatorisproposedaccordinglyandtherelationofdetectionrangetotheperformanceoftrackinitiatorisanalyzedinthispaper.SimulationsareperformedtoconfirmthecapabilityoftrackinitiationtofastandsmalltargetsindenseclutterbyAMHTtrackinitiator.Thetolerableprobabilityoffalsealarmofdetectorcanreachthelevelof10-3.Anditperformsbetterthantrackinitiatorbasedonmodifiedhoughtransform(MHT).
