摘要
ThechaoticdynamicsofaDutffingoscillatorwithaparametricforceisinvestigated.Byusingthedirectperturbationtechnique,weanalyticallyobtainthegeneralsolutionofthe1st-orderequation.ThroughtheboundednessconditionofthegeneralsolutionwegetthefamousMelnikovfunctionpredictingtheonsetofchaos.Whentheparametricandexternalforcesarestrong,numericalsimulationsshowthatincreasingtheamplitudeoftheparametricorexternalforcecanleadthesystemintochaosviaperioddoubling.
