Analytical and Numerical Studies for Chaotic Dynamics of a Duffing Oscillator with a Parametric Force-中国期刊网

摘要 ThechaoticdynamicsofaDutffingoscillatorwithaparametricforceisinvestigated.Byusingthedirectperturbationtechnique,weanalyticallyobtainthegeneralsolutionofthe1st-orderequation.ThroughtheboundednessconditionofthegeneralsolutionwegetthefamousMelnikovfunctionpredictingtheonsetofchaos.Whentheparametricandexternalforcesarestrong,numericalsimulationsshowthatincreasingtheamplitudeoftheparametricorexternalforcecanleadthesystemintochaosviaperioddoubling.
