Synthesis of Stable Silver Nanoparticles with Antimicrobial Activities in Room-temperature Ionic Liquids

摘要 Stablesilvernanoparticleswassuccessfullysynthesizedbychemicalreductionofsilvernitrateinanionicliquid,1-n-butyl-3-methylimidazoliumtetrafluoroborate([BMIM]·BF4)atroomtemperature.ResultsofUV-Visdiffusereflectancespectroscopyshowas-preparedAgnanoparticlesexhibitatypicalemissionpeakat400―430nm.Byvaryingthereactiontemperatureandtheprecursorconcentration,thesizeandtheshapeofthesilvernanoparticlescouldbeeasilycontrolledundermildconditions.Analysesoftransmissionelectronmicrographs,X-raydiffractionpatternandX-rayphotoelectronspectrumfurtherrevealthatthesilvernanoparticleswerecoatedincompletelyby[BMIM]·BF4.Microbialexperimentsindicatethatas-preparedsilvernanoparticlesshowawidespectrumofantimicrobialactivitiesandhavebetterantimicrobialactivitiestoPseudomonasaeruginosathansilvernitratewiththesameconcentrationofsilver.
