摘要 Thetransientthermalresponseofathickorthotropichollowcylinderwithfinitelengthisstudiedbyahighordershelltheory.Theradialandaxialdisplacementsareassumedtohavequadraticandcubicvariationsthroughthethickness,respectively.Itisimportantthattheradialstressisapproximatedbyacubicexpansionsatisfyingtheboundaryconditionsattheinnerandoutersurfaces,andthecorrespondingstrainshouldbeleast-squarescompatiblewiththestrainderivedfromthestrain-displacementrelation.Theequationsofmotionarederivedfromtheintegrationoftheequilibriumequationsofstresses,whicharesolvedbypreciseintegrationmethod(PIM).Numericalresultsareobtained,andcomparedwithFEsimulationsanddynamicthermo-elasticitysolutions,whichindicatesthatthehighordershelltheoryiscapableofpredictingthetransientthermalresponseofanorthotropic(orisotropic)thickhollowcylinderefficiently,andforthedetonationtubeofactualpulsedetonationengines(PDE)heatedcontinuously,thethermalstresseswillbecometoolargetobeneglected,whicharenotlikethoseintheonetimeexperimentswithveryshorttime.
