Preparation of one-dimensional nanostructured ZnO

摘要 Rod-likeZnOparticlesweresynthesizedviaasol-gelmethodbyaddingethylenediamine(EDA)tothereactionsystemofZn(Ac)2·2H2OandH2C2O4·2H2O.ThecrystalphaseandmorphologyoftheproductswerecharacterizedbyXRD(X-raypowderdiffractometer)andTEM(transmissionelectronmicroscope).Rod-likeZnObelongstothehexagonalWurtzitesystem,withdiametersandlengthsofabout20-200nmand0.2-1.5m,respectively.Experimentalresultsshowedthatthemorphologyofnano-ZnOcanbecontrolledbymodulatingthequantitiesofEDAaddedintothereactionsystemandthatEDAplaysanimportantroleintheformationofrod-likeZnOparticles.Thegrowthmechanismoftherod-likenanoZnOwasbrieflydiscussed.Theproposedfacile,reproducible,effectiveandlow-costsynthesispromisesfuturelarge-scalepreparationofnanostructuredZnOforapplicationinnanotechnology.
