Effect of Fly Ash and Early Strength Agent on Durability of Concrete Exposed to the Cyclic Sulfate Environment

摘要 Theeffectofflyashandearlystrengthagentonresistanceofconcretetothecyclicsulfateenvironmentwasstudied.Concretespecimensmadewithordinaryportlandcementorordinaryportlandcementincorporatingflyashwiththereplacementof10%or20%,or1%earlystrengthagentandflyashwiththereplacementof20%,weremadeandsubjectedto250cyclesofexposuretothecyclicsulfateenvironment.Concretepropertiesincludinglossofmass,chlorideiondiffusioncoefficient,compressivestrengthandflexuralstrengthweremeasured.MicrostructureandchemicalcomponentofsamplesweredeterminedbymeansofX-raydiffraction,scanningelectronmicroscopyandenergydispersivespectroscopy.Theexperimentalresultsindicatedthateffectofflyashonthecyclicsulfateresistanceofconcreteswasmostlydependentontheamountofflyash.Earlystrengthagentimprovedperformancesofconcretewith20%flyashexposedtocyclicsulfateenvironment.
