摘要
TheprocessofgrainselectioninthespiralselectorwasinvestigatedbybothaProCASTsimulationbasedonacellularautomatonfiniteelement(CAFE)modelandexperimentalconfirmation.Theresultsshowthattheheightofstarterblock,thespiraldiameterandinitialangleplayanimportantroleingrainselection.Thedimensionofselectorshouldbemaintainedinastablerangetooptimizethegrainorientationandselectasinglecrystalefficiently.Aselectorwhichcanefficientlyselectasinglecrystalhadbeensuccessfullydesigned.Grainorientationfluctuationinthespiralpartwasalsostudiedbymeansofthevariationofthermalcondition.
