Abstract: Objective: To explore the application value of the decompression catheter in the operation of acute low colorectal obstruction. Methods: 114 patients with acute low colorectal obstruction who were treated in our hospital from October 2017 to February 2019 were randomly selected. The clinical data of the patients were analyzed retrospectively. They were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group with 57 cases in each group. Among them, the patients in the control group were treated with conventional methods, and the patients in the observation group were treated with trans anal intestinal obstruction decompression catheter. After treatment, the abdominal circumference, drainage volume and complication rate of the two groups were compared to determine whether there was significant downward movement. Results: after treatment, the abdominal circumference of the observation group was significantly smaller than that of the control group, and the induced flow was larger than that of the control group, with a significant difference (P < 0.05). After operation, the incidence of complications in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: the decompression catheter can reduce the peritoneum and the contents of the drainage intestine, which is of great significance for the follow-up treatment and can reduce the incidence of postoperative complications.
