简介:FlowstructuresofaMach6transitionalboundarylayerovera260mmlongflaredconeareinvestigatedbytheparticleimagevelocimetry(PIV).Particleimagesnearthecurvedwallareinitiallytransformedintosurface-fittedorthogonalcoordinatesandsplicedwiththeir180°-symmetricimagestosatisfyano-slipconditionatthewall.Theresultsarethenreverselytransformedtothephysicaldomain.Directnumericalsimulation(DNS)isalsoperformedtovalidatetheexperimentalresults.Theexperimentalandnumericalresultsareinagreement,indicatingastrongdilatationprocesswithinthesecond-modeinstability.
