  • 简介:Nikuradseroughness(ks)isveryimportantinthesedimenttransportpredictionbecauseitisrelatedtotheevaluationsofthevelocitydistribution,shearstressanderosiondepth.DimensionlessNikuradseroughness(ks/D,whereDisthesedimentdiameter)isusuallygiven1–2.5ontheimmobileplanbedoratlowshearstress.ButitbehavesdifferentlyonthemobileplanbedathighshearstresswithmuchsedimentpickeduptomovementwhentheShieldsparameter(Θ)islargerthan0.8–1.0.TheeffectiveNikuradseroughnessonthemobileplanbedwasderivedindirectlyfromtheerosiondepthcorrelatedtothemobileplanbedthicknessconsideringthemassconservationinthepresentstudy.TheproposederosiondepthconfirmedtherelationtotheShieldsparameterswithanextrafactorconsistingofsuspendedsedimentanditsdampingtoturbulence.Thedecrementoftheerosiondepthcausedbytheincrementofthesedimentdiameteratlargeshearstresswasobtained,whichwasusuallyabsentinclassicalempiricalformulasbasedonthebedloadtheory.GoodagreementwithexperimentswasachievedbythepresentpredictionoftheNikuradseroughness,erosiondepthandsedimenttransportrate.Discussionwasmainlyfocusedonthepredictionimprovementcausedbyconsideringtheimpactofsuspendedsedimentanditsdampingtoturbulence.
