  • 简介:TheHOPpingFieldEmissionDisplay(HOPFED)isanewarchitectureforfieldemissiondisplays.ThemaindifferencebetweenaconventionalFieldEmissionDisplay(FED)deviceandaHOPFEDliesinthespacerstructure.InaHOPFED,twodielectricplates,namedhopandfluspacer,aresandwichedbetweentheemitterandthefrontplate.TheobjectiveofthisspacerstructureistoimprovetheperformanceofaFEDsubstantiallywithnotablecontrast,colorpurityandluminanceuniformity.Inordertooptimizethestructureofthedeviceandtomaketheelectronspotonthescreenmatchtherequirementofthephosphordotdimension,theinfluenceofelectricalandstructuralparametersofthedeviceontheelectronspotprofilewasstudiedbynumericalsimulationinthispaper.MonteCarlomethodwasemployedtocalculatethepotentialdistributioninsidehopandfluspacersduetosecondaryelectronsmechanismplaysanimportantroleinHOPFED.Theresultsindicatedthatthepotentialdistributioninthespacersandspotprofiledependedstronglyonthehopvoltage,anodevoltageandspacer'slayout.ThisstudymayprovideausefultheoreticalsupportforoptimizingthestructureinHOPFED.

  • 简介:Theworkpresentsademandsideresponse(DSR)model,whichassistselectricityconsumerstoproactivelymitigatepeakdemandonelectricalnetworksinEasternandSouthernAustralia.Alow-costtechnicalarrangement,whichismadeofInternetrelay,arouter,solidstateswitches,andthesuitablesoftware,isusedtocontrolelectricitydemandatuser’spremises.Themodelallowsshiftingloadsfrompeaktooff-peakperiodsinordertoreducepeaks,whichhelpstomoderatethenationalelectricaldemand.Themodelcanbeconcurrentlyusedtoaccommodatetheutilizationofrenewableenergysourcesandtheintroductionofelectricvehicles.Theresultspresentpossiblesavingsontheelectricalenergyconsumptioninthedesignatedregions.
