简介:Theroleofgrammarinlanguageteachinghasalwaysbeenthequestionthatresearchersdebate.Inrecentyears,grammarknowledgehasbeendistinguishedintheforeignlanguageacquisitionresearch,namelytheimplicitknowledgeandtheexplicitknowledge(DaiManchun2005;GuQiyi2005).Astothereaserchofimplicitandexplicitgrammarknowledgeaswellastheirmeasurement,itiseasytofindthatmanyscholarshavestudiedtheroleoftwodifferentkindsofgrammarknowledgeinsecondlanguagedevelopment.Buttheresearchontheroleofimplicitandexplicitgrammarknowledgeinsecondlanguagereadingcomprehensionistoofew,nottomentiontheresearchontheroleofimplicitandexplicitgrammarknowledgeinEnglishreadingcomprehensionintheseniorhighschool.ThepurposeofthisstudyistofindtherelationshipbetweenimplicitandexplicitgrammaticalknowledgeandEnglishreadingcomprehensionabilityofseniorhighschoolstudents.Inaddition,sincethevocabularyisimportanttoreadingcomprehension,thisfactorwillalsobeconsideredinthestudy.
