Hybrid graded element model for transient heat conduction in functionally graded materials

摘要 Thispaperpresentsahybridgradedelementmodelforthetransientheatconductionprobleminfunctionallygradedmaterials(FGMs).First,aLaplacetransformapproachisusedtohandlethetimevariable.Then,afundamentalsolutioninLaplacespaceforFGMsisconstructed.Next,ahybridgradedelementisformulatedbasedontheobtainedfundamentalsolutionandaframefield.Asaresult,thegradedpropertiesofFGMsarenaturallyreflectedbyusingthefundamentalsolutiontointerpolatetheintra-elementfield.Further,Stefest'salgorithmisemployedtoconverttheresultsinLaplacespacebackintothetime-spacedomain.Finally,theperformanceoftheproposedmethodisassessedbyseveralbenchmarkexamples.Theresultsdemonstratewelltheefficiencyandaccuracyoftheproposedmethod.
