摘要
Threenumericalexperimentshavebeencarriedoutbyusingaspectralbarotropicprimitiveequationmo-del.Itisfoundthattheresultsobtainedarequitesimilartothosewiththebarotropicfilteredmodel.Themainresultsreadasfollows:(1)Inthecasewithsymmetricorographyorwithoutorography,ifthemotionissymmetric(withre-specttotheequator,thesameistruehereafter)attheinitialinstant,thenitwouldbesymmetricafterwards.(2)Theantisymmetricorographydistributioncouldcauseantisymmetricmotion,andtheoriginalsym-metricmotionmightbecomeasymmetric.Inordertoexplaintheaboveresults,ithasbeenprovedthattheyaretheoreticallyvalid.Anditisfoundthatifthemotionisantisymmetricattheinitialinstant,thenitwouldbecomeasymmetric.Therefore,nopureantisymmetricmotioncouldbemaintained.
