摘要 Chinaneedstodevelopastrongnationalpowergridwhichtakesultra-high-voltage(UHV)transmissionsystemsasitscore.Thegridisexpectedtoadopt1000-kV-classACand±800-kVDCtransmissionsystems.InviewofsignificantachievementsintechnologicalresearchandconsiderableprogressinUHVmanufacturingtechnology,ChinaiscapableofdevelopingUHVsystems.InordertopromotetheconstructionofUHVsystems,ChinaElectricPowerResearchInstituteandotherinstitutionshaveinitiatedfirst-phaseresearchactivitiesofUHVtransmissiontechnologies.ThemaincontentsinvolveresearchonUHVtransmissiontechnologyanditseconomy,developingandmanufacturingabilitiesonUHVequipment,prospectiveofUHVnetworkframeandselectionofdemonstrationprojects,etc.
