摘要
Thispaperpresentsaflexiblemethodfortherepresentationofweldedseambasedonsplineinterpolation.Inthismethod,thetoolpathofweldingrobotcanbegeneratedautomaticallyfroma3DCADmodel.ThistechniquehasbeenimplementedanddemonstratedintheFANUCArcWeldingRobotWorkstation.Accordingtothemethod,asoftwaresystemisdevelopedusingVBAofSolidWorks2006.ItoffersaninterfacebetweenSolidWorksandROBOGUIDE,theoff-lineprogrammingsoftwareofFANUCrobot.Itcombinesthestrongmodelingfunctionoftheformerandthesimulatingfunctionofthelatter.Italsohasthecapabilityofcommunicationwithon-linerobot.Theresultdatahaveshownitshighaccuracyandstrongreliabilityinexperiments.Thismethodwillimprovetheintelligenceandtheflexibilityoftheweldingrobotworkstation.
