摘要
AmplitudequantizationisoneofthemainsourcesofspuriousnoisefrequenciesinDirectDigitalFrequencySynthesizers(DDFSs),whichaffecttheirapplicationtomanywirelesstelecommu-nicationsystems.Inthispaper,twodifferentkindsofspurioussignalsduetoamplitudequantizationinDDFSsareexactlyformulatedinthetimedomainanddetailedlycomparedinthefrequencydo-main,andtheeffectsoftheDDFSparametervariationsonthespuriousperformancearethoroughlystudied.Thenthespectralpropertiesandpowerlevelsoftheamplitude-quantizationspursintheabsenceofphase-accumulatortruncationareemphaticallyanalyzedbywaveformestimationandcomputersimulation,andseveralimportantconclusionsarederivedwhichcanprovidetheoreticalsupportforparameterchoiceandspuriousperformanceevaluationintheapplicationofDDFSs.
