摘要
Basedonstatisticsprinciple,randomerrorandsystematicerrorwereconsideredandthevolumetricpropertiesofthetwomixturestypes,namelyAandB,werestatisticallyanalyzedusingdifferentdistributionmethods.Seventy-twosamplesofmixtureAandfifty-twoofmixtureBwerefabricatedusingtheMarshallmethod.Theprobabilitydistributionswerecomparedonthebasisofgoodnessoffit.Weibullmodelwasfoundtobemostappropriatemodelfordescribingtheasphaltmixturesvolumetricpropertiesdistribution.Thetwo-parameterWeibulldistributionfunctionappliedwelltomodelthebulkspecificgravityandvoidsfilledwithasphaltdata,whereas,thethree-parameterWeibulldistributionappearedtobemoreappropriateinthediscussingofairvoidsandvoidsinmineralaggregate.Theexperimetalresultsisrevealedthatcomparedwiththemeanvalue,thepeakvalueofWeibulldistributionwassuggestedasanalternativeandmorepowerfulparameterfordescribingthetestdatadistributioncharacteristic.Theanalysisoftestresultsalsorevealedthatthereweresignificantdifferencesinthevolumetricpropertiesofthetwotestedmixturesforthesameconfidencelevel.Theconfidenceintervaldecreasedwiththedecreasinginreliability.
