Radiative properties of matter based on quantum statistical method

摘要 WepresentthepreliminaryresultsofourcodeOPAQS(opacitycalculationusingquantumstatisticalmodel)thatisbasedontheselfconsistentHartree-Fock-Slatermodelfortheaverageatom.Thecodeiscapableofperformingrobustcalculationsofaveragechargestate,frequency-dependentandmeanopacities.Theaccuracyoftheatomicmodelisverifiedbycomparingthecalculationsofaveragechargestatewithvariouspublishedresults.ThemonochromaticopacitiesforironcomputedatdifferentsetsoftemperaturesanddensitiesarecomparedwithLEDCOP.TheRosselandandPlanckopacitiesforironandaluminumarevalidatedwithsomestate-of-the-artcodes.Theresultsareingoodagreementwiththepublisheddata.
