Alongwiththedevelopmentofcomputertechniques,theapplicationofcomputerinthree-dimensionalvisualizationsimulationofplantgrowthprocesshasbeenpaidmoreandmoreattention.TakingCunninghamialanceolataasanexample,themorphologicalparametersfromtheperspectiveofthevisualsimulationweredesignedandthetrees’morphologicalcharacteristicswereanalyzedbasedonthesurveydata.CombinedwithIFS(IteratedFunctionSystem)underthecontrolofthegrowthcurve,byusingObject-orienteddesignmethods,andaccordingtoAPIandmodelrenderingtechnologyprovidedbyDIRECTX9.0,athree-dimensionalvisualizationsystemonthegrowthanddevelopmentofC.lanceolatainpidualtreeweredevelopedonthe.NETandDIRECTX9.0platforms,whichrealizedthestaticanddynamicthree-dimensionalvisualizationsimulation.
