Firstly,theRiemannboundaryvalueproblemforakindofdegenerateellipticsystemofthefirstorderequationsinR~4isproposed.Then,withthehelpoftheone-to-onecorrespondencebetweenthetheoryofCliffordvaluedgeneralizedregularfunctionsandthatofthedegenerateellipticsystem’ssolution,theboundaryvalueproblemasstatedaboveistransformedintoaboundaryvalueproblemrelatedtothegeneralizedregularfunctionsinCliffordanalysis.Moreover,thesolutionoftheRiemannboundaryvalueproblemforthedegenerateellipticsystemisexplicitlydescribedbyusingakindofsingularintegraloperator.Finally,theconditionsfortheexistenceofsolutionsoftheobliquederivativeproblemforanotherkindofdegenerateellipticsystemofthefirstorderequationsinR~4arederived.
