Thispaperaimsatunderstandinghowpeopleexcludedfromtheconsumermarketendupinthecriminalmilieuasaviablesolutionforthem.Theliteraturereviewaddressesoneoftheaspectsofthecapitalistsystem,whichleadstoexclusionandsegregationinalargepartoftheconsumermarketpopulationand,thus,canengenderalienationandincursionintothecriminalworld.Weintendtoreferourstudytothemethodofarchivalethnography,sincethematerialofouranalysisispartofaresearchwithpeopleindeprivationofliberty.Theprocessofinterpretationmakesitpossibletounderstandthatthesegregatingdynamicsoftheconsumermarketisresponsiblebyanattemptofincludingpeople,eventhoughinanalienatedway,sincetheychosethecrimeinstead.
