Thereactivityratiosofvinylacetate(VAc)andpinylbenzene(DVB)werecalculatedfromtheQandevalues.Thepossibilityofthecopolymerizationofthesetwomonomerswaspredictedandthecopolymerizationwascarriedoutbysuspensionpolymerizationtechniqueinthepresenceofporeproducingagent(tolueneandgasoine).TherelativeratioofacetoxygroupandbenzeneringinthecopolymerweremonitoredbyIRmeasurementduringthepolymerization.Thevariationofporeproperties,suchasspectificsurfacearea,porosityandaverageporediameter,withpolymerizationtimeweredetermined.Thecopolymersatvariouspolymerizationtimewerealcoholyzedandthusthevariationofthehydroxylgroupcontentwithpolymerizationtimewasstudied.
