Aseriesofnovel(S,S)-2,8-diazabicyclo[4.3.0]nonanecontainingbenzimidazolemoietywassynthesizedandtheirstructuresweredeterminedby1HNMRandHRMS.ThebiologicalactivityresultsshowedthatthesecompoundspossessedmoderateantifungalactivitytosomeplantpathogenousfungiandmoderateinsecticidalactivityagainstMythimnaseparataWalkerandCulexpipienspallens.Compounds6eand6fexhibitedgoodantibacterialactivityagainstSclerotiniasclerotiorum,PhytophthorainfestansandFusariumgraminearum.Thelethalityratesofcompounds6eand6kagainstMythimnaseparataWalkerwere100%at200mg/Landthelethalityratesofcompounds6hand6kagainstC.pippienspallenswere75%at2mg/L.
