Thisstudypresentedanoff-lineidentificationmethodofinductionmotor(IM)parameters.Beforestartup,theinverterdriveperformedautomaticallyamodifiedDCtest,alocked-rotortest,ano-loadtestandastep-voltagetesttoidentifyalltheparametersofaninductionmotor.Nomanualoperationandspeedsignalswererequiredintheprocess.Inordertoobtaineffectivemessagesandimprovetheaccuracyofidentification,thediscretefastFouriertransform(DFFT)andtheleast-squareswereusedtoprocessthesignalsofcurrentsandvoltages.Aphase-voltagemeasuringmethodformotorswasalsoproposed,whichmeasureddirectlytheactualconductingtimeofthreeupperswitchesintheinverterwithoutneedforadead-timecompensator.Thevalidity,reliabilityandaccuracyofthepresentedmethodshavebeenverifiedbytheexperimentsonaVSI-fedIMdrivesystem.
