摘要:本课例借助信息技术制造的课件来进行课堂辅助教学, 从而达到实现学生在一堂阅读课里的听说读写四会能力得到全面提升的教学目标。

Abstract: This case is to use the courseware made by information technology to assist classroom teaching to achieve the goal of comprehensively improving students' listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities in a reading class.

一、教学背景
教学对象是高一学生,而且绝大多数都是农村孩子,英语基础知识和基本技能一般。因此,调动学生的学习兴趣,并引导学生进行有效的听说读写是课堂的关键。

二、教学课型: 阅读课
三、教材分析
本课例是新译林版高一必修教材B1U1的Reading,围绕School Life这一主题,先观看电影片段和进行话题讨论,增加学生对文章的感性知识;然后阅读,培养学生阅读整体的概念;细读时,采取跳读,寻读和细读各种阅读方法和单选,阅读简答和语法填空的方法;在难点处理时,采用启发诱导,师生归纳,生生讨论的措施加以突破。整个教学过程的设计由浅入深,由感悟,理解,分析,归纳,总结到运用,从而完成从阅读输入到理解输出的学习过程来培养学生的阅读能力;从听说导入再到读写输出的学习过程,从而培养出学生听说读写四会的基本英语交际和应用能力。

四、教学目标

核心目标:学生能够在语言实践活动中熟练用英语表达自己的看法。

具体目标:1)知识目标:通过学习,学生了解Mr Xu’s Speech的演讲内容和写作技巧。

2)能力目标:通过寻找文章各段的中心句和具体细节问题的答案,学生快速培养归纳文章主旨和获取文章细节信息的阅读能力以及对文章整体把握的概括和归纳能力。

3)策略目标:通过学习与讨论,结合书本知识和日常生活,学生独立写出自己在新学校的高中生活,既激发了学习英语的兴趣,又使听说读写四会能力得到全面发展,这是新课程改革后高中英语教学的最大进步。

了解徐校长的演讲稿的内容以及其演讲高中加强气势的排比句的语言特色。
2.教学难点
通过运用各类阅读方式快速获取主旨大意和细节信息,培养学生快速找出各段的中心句以及全文的主旨大意的阅读技巧,提高学生阅读文章的理解能力,全面发展四会能力。

Step1: Revision and lead-in

Last class, we talked about our senior high school life. How can we learn better and discover more? (Confucius’s saying: Study without thinking leads to confusion; thinking without study ends in puzzlement.)

Let’s have a discussion: What do you think of your new school life?

Step2: Pre-reading

Today we will read a speech given to senior high students by Mr Xu, their principal on the first day of the term. Before reading the speech transcript, think about two questions:

1. How do you think senior high school will be different from junior high school?

2. What do you think the principal will talk about in his speech?

九、课后反思

本节课的成功之处有以下几点:

1.导入精彩。首先呈现的名言警句和讨论问题的设计都具有趣味性和导向性,使学生产生明确而强烈的学习期待心理,从而促使学生兴趣学习浓厚,课堂氛围轻松,学习效果事半功倍。

2.课堂活动形式多样,丰富多彩。就内容而言,猜测活动、理解活动、情感活动、反馈活动等;就组织形式而言,师生、生生互动性强,既有个体活动,又有小组活动、全班活动和师生互动;就学习方式而言,既有自主学习的活动,又有合作中学习的活动。活动前学生角色明确,任务清晰,因此课堂教学调控较好,课堂气氛活跃,调动了学生的学习积极性、自主性和协作性,充分体现了“以学生为本”的教学理念。

3.教案设计层次合理,有的放矢。(1)由浅入深,层层递进。由名言警句和问题讨论导入新课,直观明了。对课文理解分三次:第一次浏览全文;第二次对课文大意和主旨的理解性阅读;第三次大声朗读。(2)围绕中心,环环相扣;(3)深化主题,培养能力。这堂课最大限度地调动了学生学习的积极性和主动性,从而收到了较好的教学效果。同时,结合近几年的高考新题型-阅读填空和语篇填空,以及限时书面表达,设计了专门的题目,培养了学生在这方面语言能力的运用。

4.遵从《普通高中英语课程标准》(2017年版2020年修订)的理念。从帮助学生形成有效的学习策略的角度出发,以教师为主导,以学生为主体,教师指导学生通过积极主动的学习方式,培养学生用英语获取信息、处理信息的能力,体现了“素质教育”的精神。要求上、中、下不同水平的学生参与求体验,创新求发展,激发他们对课堂和学习的兴趣,都参与课堂活动,学有所获。

本节课也并非尽善尽美,其不足之处有以下几点:

1.本节课词汇量比较大,个别学生预习不充分,丧失了后面口头表达锻炼的机会。

2.在词汇和句型的语言学习处理上有所忽视。

3.全文的Summary可以当做学生简单复述课文的重要信息提示,应该予以充分地利用。

4.在讨论时应该给学生留出更多的准备时间和表达时间,学生的积极性会更高,课堂气氛会更加活跃。
