TheUSM-θmodelofpowerlawfluidfordensetwo-phaseturbulentflowwasdeveloped,whichcombinestheunifiedsecond-ordermomentmodelfortwo-phaseturbulencewiththeparticlekinetictheoryfortheinter-particlecollision.Thismodelwasusedtosimulatetheturbulentflowofpowerlawfluidsingle-phaseinpipe.ItisshownthattheUSM?θmodelhasbetterpredictionresultthanthekf?εf?kp?εp?θmodel.TheUSM?θmodelwasthenusedtosimulatethedensetwo-phaseturbulentupflowofpowerlawfluidwithparticles.Withtheincreaseoftheflowexponent,thevelocitiesofpowerlawfluidandparticlesincreasenearthepipecentre.Comparisonbetweenthetwo-phaseflowofpowerlawfluid-particleandofliquid-particleindicatesthattheaxialfluctuationvelocityoffluidphaseandparticlephaseinliquid-particletwo-phaseflowissmallerthanthatinthepowerlawfluidtwo-phaseflow,butthetwo-phasevelocitiesofpowerlawfluid-particleandliquid-particleareclosetoeachother.
