Thispaperproposesahybridmethodbasedontheforward-backwardmethod(FBM)andthereciprocitytheorem(RT)forevaluatingthescatteringfieldfromdielectricroughsurfacewitha2Dtargetaboveit.Here,theequivalentelectric/magneticcurrentdensitiesontheroughsurfaceaswellasthescatteringfieldfromitarenumericallycalculatedbyFBM,andthescatteredfieldfromtheisolatedtargetisobtainedutilizingthemethodofmoments(MOM).Meanwhile,therescatteredcouplinginteractionsbetweenthetargetandthesurfaceareevaluatedemployingthecombinationofFBMandRT.OurhybridmethodisfirstvalidatedbyavailableMOMresults.Then,thefunctionaldependencesofbistaticandmonostaticscatteringfromthetargetaboveroughsurfaceuponthetargetaltitude,incidentandscatteringanglesarenumericallysimulatedanddiscussed.Thisstudypresentsanumericaldescriptionforthescatteringmechanismassociatedwithrescatteredcouplinginteractionsbetweenatargetandanunderlyingrandomlyroughsurface.
