Thetechniqueoncomputingthehorizontalpressuregradientforce(PGF)inRegCM2isimprovedwiththeerrorsubtractionmethod.Moreover,theregionalclimateinJuneof1991inChinaissimulatedbyemployingtheRegCM2.ComparisonwithotherschemesforcomputingthePGFshowsthattheerrorsubtractionmethodcaneffectivelyreducetheerrorofthePGF,improvethesimulationofwindsandalleviatethespuriousprecipitationinsteeptopographicareas.Furthermore,thesimulationofprecipitationinotherareasisinbetteraccordancewiththeobservation.
