Theglassytransitionofthepolyethyleneterephthalate(PET)sampleswhichhavebeensubjectedtosolventinducedcrystallization(SINC)wasinvestigatedbymodulateddifferentialscanningcalorimetry(MDSC)anddensitymeasurement.Thedif-ferentialofheatcapacitysignal,dC_p/dTfromMDSC,wasusedtomonitortheSINCprocess.ItrevealsthattheT_gtemperatureshiftstohighervaluewiththeadvancementofSINC.Whenthetoluene-immersingtimewaslonger(168h),thedetectionofT_gbecomemoredifficult,becausesomesmallerpeaksemergedatthelowertemperaturesandtheseareexplainedasthemovementofsmallsegmentsintheamorphousregion.TheseobservedresultsareduetothemorphologyandstructureintroducedbytheSINCprocess.
