Thispaperquantitativelyanalyzedgroundwatertablefluctuationscausedbygroundwateroverdraft,andprobedintothepossibilityofdrawingearthquakeprecursoryinformationfromgroundwatertablevariationsonthebackgroundofgroundwateroverdraft.MaineffectfactorsofgroundwaterregimeinBeijingregionincludegroundwaterextractionandrainfall.Thedeclineofgroundwatertablewasdirectlyrelatedtoregionalgroundwateroverdraft.Usingthemethodofcorrelationanalysis,thepaperanalyzedtherelationbetweengroundwateroverdraftandgroundwaterlevelvariations,withtheaimofevaluatingtheeffectofgroundwateroverdraftonwaterlevelsinobservationwellsandprovidingscientificbasisforidentifyingseismicprecursoryinformation.Theresultsindicatethatthevariationsofgroundwaterlevelinslightly-affectedzonesofgroundwateroverdraftcancontainsomeseismicprecursoryinformation,anditispossibletoextractseismicprecursoryanomaliesifpropermathematicalmethodsareadoptedtoremovethetrendcomponentandannualperiodchanges.
