Cryosurgeryisaneffectivewayofcuringmanydiseasesincludingtumorsandcancers.Itcanbeappliedusingavarietyofsystemsandcryogens.Cheap,convenient,reliableequipmentstillneedstobedevelopedsothatcryotherapymaybeacceptedbysurgeonsandhospitals.Thispaperpresentsacryosurgeryapparatusthatutilizesanauto-cascaderefrigerationsystem.RefrigerantmixtureR50/R23/R600awasselectedastheworkingfluid.Themixturecompositionwasalteredtoachievelowertemperaturesandhighercapacity.Thelowesttemperatureatthecryoprobecouldbeaslowas-100°C,and8Wrefrigerationcapacitycouldbeobtainedat-80°C.Aniceballof11.6mmdiametercouldbeformedwhenthecryoprobewasimmersedinawaterbathat37°C.
