简介:Thehighresolutionradartargetdetectionisaddressedinthenon-Gaussianclutter.Anadaptivedetectorisderivedforrange-spreadtargetbasedonanovelcovariancematrixestimator.Itisprovedthatthenewdetectorisconstantfalsealarmrate(CFAR)tobothofthecluttercovariancematrixstructureandpowerleveltheoreticallyformatchcases.ThesimulationresultsshowthatthenewdetectorisalmostCFARformismatchcases,anditoutperformstheexistingadaptivedetectorbasedonthesamplecovariancematrix.Italsoshowsthatthedetectionperformanceimproves,asthenumberofpulses,thenumberofsecondarydataortheclutterspikeincreases.Inaddition,thederiveddetectorisrobusttodifferentsubsets,estimatedcluttergroupsizesandcorrelationsofclutter.Importantly,thenumberofiterationsforpracticalapplicationisjustone.
