简介:Oscillatingflowaroundacircularcylinderinthevicinityofaplanewallwasinvestigatedbysolvingthetwo-dimensionalincompressibleNavier-StokesequationswithafiniteelementGalarkinresidualmethod.TheeffectofthegapGDbetweenthecylindersurfaceandthewallontheflowbehaviorwasstudied.ForthecaseofGD≤0.25,theperiodicityintheflowisattributedtoboththeoutershearlayerinstabilityandtheoscillatingfrequency.AsGD>0.25,vortexsheddingoccursandtheperiodicityintheflowismainlyduetothecompetitionoftheoscillatingfrequencyandthevortexsheddingfrequencyfromanisolatedstationarycylinder.
简介:Inthispaper,aniterationmethodispresentedtocalculatethesteadynoseparationflowpastacircularcylinderwithbrokenline-shapedvelocityprofile.Ateachiterationstep,thestreamlinesofthelaststepareconsideredasequivorticitylinestodeterminethenewflowfield.Theiterativeprocessisstoppedwhencertainconvergencecriterionisreached.Severalexamplesaregivenwhichshowtheeffectivenessofthemethod.
