  • 简介:ThepossibilitytoadjusttexturalpropertiesofITHandIWWzeolitesbythevariationofconditions(e.g.temperature,pH,duration)ofacidicleachingwasshown.WhilethegrowthofthetemperatureofacidtreatmentcausedtheincreasingamountofleachedGeatomsandenhancingvolumesofbothmicroandmesoporesat80℃,themesoporevolumeinITH(Si/Ge=3.4and5.8)andIWW(Si/Ge=3.3)zeoliteschangedwiththedurationofthetreatment(pH=2;T=80℃)asfollows:96h<1h<24h.Independentlyonthechemicalcompositionandzeolitetopology,thetreatmentofgermanosilicatezeolitesatpH=2–7resultedindevelopmentofbothmicroandmesoporosityaccompaniedbytheextractionofsubstantialamountofGeatoms,whiletheincreasingacidityuptopH=0resultedinsomereductionofGeextractionandinthedevelopmentofmesoporesatmaintainedvalueofmicroporevolumewhencomparedwithinitialgermanosilicates.Thehigheractivity(i.e.numberofreactantmoleculesconvertedperactivesite)ofgermanosilicatewithmodifiedmicro-mesoporouschannelsystemincomparisonwithparentIWWzeoliteinesterificationoflevulinicacidwasattributedtoenhancedaccessibilityofactivesites.

  • 简介:Inthispaper,amultidimensionaltuningmethodofthesilicamicrocapillaryresonator(MCR)isproposedanddemonstratedwherebytheextinctionratio(ER)aswellastheresonantwavelengthcanbeindividuallycontrolled.AnERtuningrangeofupto17dBandamaximumtuningsensitivityof0.3dB/μmarerealizedduetothetaperedprofileofthesilicaopticalmicrofiber(MF)whentheMFisadjustedalongitsaxialdirection.Comparedtodirecttuningofthecouplinggap,thismethodcouldlowertherequirementfortheresolutionofdisplacementstagetomicrometers.WhentheMFisadjustedalongtheaxialdirectionofthesilicamicrocapillary,aresonanceshiftof3.06nmandmaximumtuningsensitivityof0.01nm/μmareachieved.Thismethodavoidstheuseofanappliedexternalfieldtocontrolthesilicamicroresonators.Moreover,whenairisreplacedbyethanolandwaterinthecoreofthesilicamicrocapillary,amaximumresonanceshiftof5.22nmisalsoachievedtofurtherenlargetheresonancetuningrange.Finally,amicrobubbleresonatorwithahigherQfactorisalsofabricatedtoachieveanERtuningrangeof8.5dB.OurmethodfullytakesadvantageoftheuniquestructureoftheMCRtoseparatelyandeasilytuneitskeyparameters,andmaybroadenitsapplicationsinopticalsignalprocessingandsensing.

  • 简介:Wepresentanovelandsimplemethodtoobtainanultrawidefreespectralrange(FSR)siliconringresonatortogetherwithatuningrangecoveringtheentirespectrumfrom1500to1600nm.AringresonatorwithalargeFSRtogetherwithahighQfactor,hightuningefficiency,andlowfabricationcostandcomplexityisdesiredformanyapplications.Inthispaper,weintroduceanovelwaytomakesucharingresonator,whichtakesadvantageofthewell-knownresonance-splittingphenomenon.ItisasingleringresonatorwithanFSRofmorethan150nmaround1550nmandwhichhasaneasythermo-optictunabilitythatcanproduceatuningrangearound90nmorevenmore.Moreover,thedeviceissimpletoimplementandcanbefabricatedinstandardcomplementarymetal-oxidesemiconductortechnologywithoutrequiringanykindofcomplicatedprocessingorextramaterials.Thepotentialapplicationsincludesinglemodelasercavities,wavelengthdivisionmultiplexingfilters,(de)multiplexers,opticalsensors,andintegratedreflectors.
