简介:Theopticalpropertiesofafive-levelatomicsystemcomposedofaA-typefour-levelatomicandatripodfour-levelatomicsystemsareinvestigated.Itisfoundthatthebehaviorsofelectromagneticallyinducedtransparency(EIT)andgroupvelocitycanbecontrolledbychoosingappropriateparameterswiththeinteractingdarkresonances.Inparticular,whenallthefieldsareonresonance,theslowlightatthesymmetrictransparencywindowswithamuchbroaderEITwidthisobtainedbytuningtheintensityofthecouplingfieldincomparisonwithitssub-system,whichprovidespotentialapplicationsinquantumstorageandretrievaloflight.
